About Megan

I am a full time mom to children 10, 8, 6 and 3. I babysat constantly from the time I was 12, through college, as I loved it. After college, I worked for Scholastic in New York City. When my oldest son was born, my husband and I decided to return to our Midwestern roots. We lived in Chicago, and had our second son and first daughter. In 2008 we moved back to Des Moines, where we are both from. Our second daughter was born in 2009. I am looking to increase our income, as our children grow. I am available during the day, if my 3-year-old could accompany me. I am available nights, weekends, and can do overnights, during the week, and on weekends. I have survived I don't know how many illnesses, scrapes, stitches, though no broken bones! I realize giving kids a candy bar and a coke at 8:00 a.m. , or pm, is not a good idea. I use redirection, especially with young children. And I will say I have acquired an enormous amount of patience over the last 10 years. I am not only qualified, but also kind. I also have an exemplary driving record, and I am comfortable and familiar shuffling children.
