From a young age I knew that I wanted a career involving working with children. My experience began working in an after school care program while pursuing my education in childhood development (ECE). From there I began working as a Para Educator with special needs children in the public school systems before moving on to becoming a full time Nanny. As a Nanny I have cared for infants and children up to 10 years of age and have worked caring for families with 3 children as well as working for multiple families on a part time basis. As a Nanny my goals are to be patient, supportive and understanding while providing consistency and working towards age appropriate goals and skills while building and instilling confidence. While in my care you can trust that your child will receive the love and attention they deserve.

Megan was a god-send to our family. She is a seasoned career nanny - and a pro at raising children. Not only did she help raise my daughter to be a smart, capable, school-ready toddler during the most developmentally critical time of her life, but she became a dear friend and surrogate family member. 
The next family to have her is extremely lucky. 

Megan started with our family when our son was 5 months old and stayed on with us for 4 years (which included the birth of our daughter). She has truly become a part of our family and it is an incredible feeling to leave for work knowing my kids are safe, loved, and well cared for each day. Megan is playful and truly loves babies and children. She is intuitive, punctual, incredibly reliable, and confident in her abilities (without overstepping). She has so much experience and taught me a lot as a first time mom. Megan is a true professional and any family would be lucky to have her! 

I knew from the moment I met Megan that she was the right fit for our family.  She has an easygoing, yet take charge way about her and has been a warm and loving, yet firm caretaker for our children for the past six years.  She has been with us since I went back to work when my daughter was four months old, through the birth of my son (14 months later) until present day, my children are now six years old and four and a half years old. I never hesitated to leave the house with Megan in charge. She is a seasoned childcare giver and a really good communicator.  She has always kept me informed about the kids and how they are doing and sends lots of pictures and videos. She has a great sense of humor and really loves children.  Both of our children will be in camp most of the summer and then both will be in school five days a week in the fall, hence soon we will no longer need childcare full time.  Megan has truly been a gift and a blessing to our family and will be to your family as well.

Megan is brilliant with children. I've known Megan 30 years and she's always worked in childcare.  To this day, so many, now grown children whom she has cared for, still keep in touch with Megan as she develops beautiful bonds with the children she cares for.  She is also phenomenal at discipline - she does it very effectively with love, helping children grow while developing trust.  Oh and not only is she always on time, she is always early :)

Megan was a god send!  We had to fire our original Nanny (long story, but not good) and we were so fortunate that Megan was available. My boys took to her immediately and she was amazing. Megan has an amazing work ethic, was always on time, and knew exactly what she was doing.  There wasn't a day that went by that I had to worry about the care the boys were receiving and they absolutely loved Megan.  She is still a part of lives.  She actually attended my oldest son's wedding recently and it was just like old times.  I would highly recommend Megan, in fact you would be very lucky to have her care for your precious one(s).

Megan was instrumental in helping me navigate the early days with 3 toddlers. Her pleasant, positive demeanor was truly a calming force in our home. She was incredibly attentive to each of my children and always filled their days with actives (both fun & educational). My children absolutely adored her (still do) and I had such a sense of relief knowing my children were in such capable, loving hands. As a mother, Megan was incredibly supportive of me, especially in those early days, and went above/beyond the call of duty to anticipate our needs. She often went out of her way to do things she simply didn't need to. Things like, tidying up, bringing gifts for the kids birthdays & checking in on my to make sure my sanity was still in tact. Whatever it was-she always made our family feel so special & loved. She's truly one in a million and any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her on board.

Megan is an amazing asset to any family. She worked for us for many years starting when our daughters   were just born. She is an extremely caring and loving person who we trusted to take care of our children. We had Megan not only to watch our girls day to day but also over extended periods of time when we had to travel. She is still a part of our family, years later. I would highly recommend Megan to any family.

Megan is amazing caregiver. She was nurturing and loving with our 3 children, and began working with us when our youngest was born. She drove the older two to preschool and elementary school as well as recreational activities. She prepped snacks, did grocery shopping, and helped with homework. Megan was a partner in parenting. We still keep in touch and cherish our time with her in our lives!

Megan worked with us from Sept 2008 till March 2011, when our youngest was getting ready to start preschool. Megan was an amazing caregiver, and managed all three of our children with structure and lots of love and care. She took care of school pick-up and drop-off for our other two children, helped with homework, took care of children's laundry, grocery shopping, and simple meals. We absolutely loved her, and are still in contact with her to date.

Megan is a competent, intelligent and compassionate caregiver. As a preschool aide, Megan worked directly with children, families and co-teachers. During the time of her employment at Preschool, Megan proved to be reliable, flexible and supportive of the needs of individual children as well as the group. She quickly bonded with children and parents trusted her sound advice. As the lead teacher in a large group setting, I appreciated Megan's common sense, creativity and ability to predict where she could be most helpful. Megan proved herself capable of developing appropriate curriculum that celebrated the strengths and curiosities of each individual child. Megan would be a wonderful addition to any preschool program or family setting.

I have known Megan for over 35 years, and we have grown from childhood into adulthood together.  Megan is a trustworthy and loyal friend who is always there when you need her and who dedicates her time to her friends and family.  She is kind and compassionate and someone who I am lucky to have in my life.  In addition to our friendship, I have also used Megan to watch my three children.  My children are ages 11, 9, and 6, and Megan has watched them occasionally since they were babies.  I have also spent time with her while she was caring for children.  Megan is very natural with babies and children and is able to communicate with them on their level.  She is able to be caring and nurturing while providing appropriate boundaries.  In addition, Megan is an expert in baby and childhood phases and she has helped me countless times with solutions to difficult problems- potty training, waking up at night, fighting with siblings, etc. A major friendship bonus is having the ability to text or call her with a behavioral issue and getting great advice.  Her hands-on experience has provided her with valuable resources and solutions to help any parent.  She is also creative in how she spends her time with children and uses local resources, such as parks, swimming lessons, libraries, and museums.  I have trusted my children with Megan and would be lucky to have her care for them if I needed.  I don't have a moments hesitation in her ability to handle any situation that would arise.  I am lucky to have Megan in my life for so many reasons and for that, I am thankful.

I would highly recommend Megan as a babysitter/Nanny. She worked for us for over 6 years full time and then on and off for 3-4 more. She was an active part of our family and we still have a relationship with her 12 years later as she was a huge part of my girls life when they were little. Megan just steps in and takes charge. I trusted her from Day 1 and she never let us down. She loved being active with the girls, she taught them so much. She understood all the different stages of young children and always took initiative to engage my girls in whatever activity they wanted to do. She talked to them all the time so they developed great communication skills. We have used her when my husband and I have gone on vacation and overnight stays. She's awesome and I can't recommend her more highly. You would be lucky to have her.
