About Megan

Hello, my name is Megan and I am a current nursing student who is looking to expand my patient care experience. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant who has been trained in the correct and safe care management for individuals of all ages. Along with being a CNA, I am also CPR/BLS certified as of January 2018. I have accumulated over 400 hours of volunteer work at Torrance Memorial Medical Center as a Blue Jacket Volunteer. As a Blue Jacket, I was responsible for transporting patients throughout the hospital, directing/helping visitors to the right departments of the hospital, and training new volunteers. This experience has set the foundation for proper patient care. I am a dedicated and responsible worker who can provide a safe and positive environment for everyone I care for. My studies as a current nursing student have educated me on the proper care of individuals of all ages and have provided me with knowledge on how to interact and respond to both social and health situations.
