About Megan

20 plus years of experience as an educator and parent have reinforced my passion for helping children and families. I am a certified teacher and speech-language pathologist with two masters degrees: Teaching English as a Second Language and Communication Disorders. I have primarily worked with grades Kindergarten through High School, but also have experience with ages birth-5 and adults. I use a mixture of academic and language-based activities and lots of movement and creative play. I'm extremely trustworthy and professional, and I prioritize good communication with parents to match their preferences and priorities. My specialty is providing care together with speech/language growth. I am quite comfortable speaking French and Japanese and have intermediate Spanish skills. I would like to care for one or two children at a time. I plan on getting recertified in CPR and First Aid asap. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and expertise to your family this summer!
