I have been professionally pet sitting off and on for about 6 years. In the past, I have had experience working in kennels and as a vet tech assistant. I have and can give baths, cut nails, administer medications, etc. My very first Care. com client was a family with a 1-year-old Newfoundland that had knee surgery. They needed me to come by multiple times a day to help her outside to go to the bathroom and administer medications, hot/cold compresses and massages. Another of my very first clients had a moody, possibly nippy. They had just moved to the area and his dog, Jersee, was not taking it so well. He hired me based on the fact that I am not scared of her and have no problems showing her who is the boss when she gets grumpy and stubborn. I love all breeds, but my favorites are pit bulls/bully breeds.
