*Looking for full-time starting late August/September* I have been caring for little ones most of my life! I love the laughter, curiosity, and cuddles! It is very rewarding to watch them grow and to grow along with them. I have 12 years of experience as a private nanny working in 4 homes. I have a degree in education and taught K-12 music for 5 years in a school setting. I have experience working in a daycare with infants to age 5, substitute teaching in a preschool ages 3-5, and teaching elementary, middle school, and high school age children. I was director of children's ministry at my church for 3. 5 years. I enjoy planning activities that encourage physical, mental, and social development. Safety and education are my priorities, but fun, creativity, and silliness are important as well! I love music, crafts, reading, cooking, nutrition, exercise, and spending time with my husband and step-daughter.

My family could not have been happier to have Megan as a nanny! She worked for us full time for 4 years, from the time my son was 21 months old until he started kindergarten. Megan is intelligent, kind, hardworking, responsible, and trustworthy--and my son adores her. Anytime I've wanted something done a specific way, she has followed my instructions to the letter, but she's actually never needed any hand-holding-she knows how to take care of children. She's great at finding activities kids enjoy, and helped my son make his first little friends. She's also a great teacher who fit a ton of learning into their play. My son could read before starting preschool, and I really believe she deserves most of the credit for that. While Megan worked for us, I never had a moment's fear; she always put my son's safety first, and I never once heard her raise her voice or lose her cool. My whole family loves her, and any family would be lucky to have her care for their children!
