About Megan

Hi families! My name is Megan! As a current 2nd grade teacher with several years of classroom experience, I bring structure, creativity, and patience to everything I do. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a lead teacher in a daycare center with 2-year-olds and have also nannied for several wonderful families over the years. I understand the importance of building trust, keeping children engaged, and creating a safe and loving environment where they can thrive. I'm CPR, DCF certified, and hold reading and TESOL endorsements, which allow me to support children's development across a range of learning needs and styles. When working at the daycare center, I was the lead teacher for a 2-year-old classroom. I was solely responsible for meal prep, diaper changes and creating engaging activities for the 11 2-year-olds in my class.
