I have always had a passion for working with children. As a young girl scout, I volunteered to work with girls younger than myself and to be a good role model. When I started college, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, but I didn't know what obstacles I would endure in that career. As I have grown and developed, I have learned that I do love being a teacher, just not in a standard setting. I am StepMom to the most wonderful 3-year-old boy and my world revolves around him. Everything I do is for him. I have been a summer camp counselor for the past 7 years and a teacher for the past four years. This has cultivated a love of making learning fun! I am looking for a more flexible and small-group oriented experience, whether it be tutoring, light house work, or engaging your kids in some fun (and educational) activities!
