Hello, my name is Megan. I am a 4th year elementary school teacher. I have taught grades 2, 4, and 6. I have 15+ years babysitting experience. I have worked with ages 8 months-16 years old. 

Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a Special Ed instructional aide in both elementary school and middle school. I am grateful for my 7 years experience working in Special Ed because that has truly shaped who I am as a teacher. 

I am available weekdays after 4:00 p.m. and most weekends. I look forward to hearing from you :)

Megan is amazing with our Littles. Our Littles are very picky when it comes to someone else other than Mommy watching them. When they showed interest and enjoyed her time we were all for it. She has so much patience and informs me of everything. Our Littles love her. 

Megan showed professionalism and warmth from our very first communications and our children felt happy and at home with her from the moment she walked through the door. She is so kind and naturally gifted with children as well as dependable, helpful and responsible. We felt great about leaving our kids in such good hands.

Megan was super helpful and watched our two little ones while we were on vacation in Santa Cruz. She was on time and very responsive.

Megan is very sweet and nice. She made friends with my 20 month old quickly and he took her to his room to play more and read books. Megan's knowledge of child behavior is a great asset in making her a great babysitter.

There are so many wonderful things I could say about Megan. She is excellent with communication and follow up. She is very punctual and has always arrived on time! I have two kids a boy (11 months) and a girl (nearly 4 years old). My daughter absolutely loves when Megan comes to watch them for date night. Megan also periodically sends me photos of whatever game, craft or outside in the backyard adventure they are doing. Before Megan, no one outside of my family and friends had watched my kids. From the beginning during her phone interview she completely put my mind at ease. It has been such a great blessing not having to worry about the kids, knowing they are in great hands while we are away. Megan is definitely going to be our go to sitter while we live here!

Megan is an incredible child care provider and we're so lucky she lives nearby! We've had Megan watch out 17 month old a couple of times now and we'll definitely have her back! She's always early, had a lovely attitude, and is wonderful with our baby and our two pups. We cannot recommend her enough! Thanks, Megan!!

We hired Megan to take care of our 3 year old and 1 year old kids while we attended a wedding in Monterey! She was very friendly and courteous. We were at Monterey for a 4 day work function and needed someone to accompany our energetic 3 year old boy during the day at the hotel, Megan came to the rescue and she was just wonderful. My son likes her instantly and didn't even need any warm up time. Megan is warm and gentle but also silly and fun with kids, easy to communicate and extremely accommodating. We will definitely call for her help if we come to the area again.

Our usual family babysitter was sick so we decided to call Megan the day before we needed someone.  She was super flexible. We messaged her through Care.com and she got back to us within the hour and we had a phone interview the same day. She was very friendly, warm, and made us feel at ease. We had never hired any outside babysitter since we have family that help, so we were a bit uneasy. She let us know that most of her clients have been in the same situation and it's never been a problem with the kids. Sure enough, the next day she came early and met the kids, and they took to her immediately with no problem, which made us feel better. We were late coming back from our meeting and we called to let her know and she was able to accommodate with no problem. We'd hire her again!

We hired Megan when we were in Monterey for the day. She babysat our 2 kids (ages 6 and 2. 5) for about 5 hours at night while we attended a work function. Megan has a pleasant and warm demeanor so the kids took to her right away. She was able to keep up with the chaotic energy of kids gone wild at a hotel so she gets a medal for that. She was able to get the kids ready for bed and asleep on time and even calmed our son when he got a little weepy about us being away. We would hire her again in a heartbeat and very much appreciated her willingness to help us out. Thank you :)

My boys absolutely adore Megan. She is professional and very passionate with her work. She is so patient and interacts with my boys. We will be using Megan again and again. She is great and I would recommended her without a doubt. 

Megan is an extremely attentive, patient, creative and punctual caregiver. She follows directions well and asks questions when we have left something out of our instructions. Our kids have a great time with her! Run do not walk to hire her.
