I am going to school for Occupational Therapy at Quinnipiac University. I have worked with kids on the Autistic Spectrum at Occupational Therapists Associates Wakefield in the feeding group to help desensitize their mouths to different tastes and textures. I have also volunteered with the EMARC program, as a swim buddy, dance role model, and bowling friend and score keeper. I love being able to help children and see them grow. I volunteer at the Muscular Dystrophy Association as well. I have always been friends to anyone willing to be my friend and do not discriminate against anyone. I believe in the saying "treat people how you want to be treated." I know people with special needs are just normal people who may just need a little extra help, and I am willing to put in that extra help.

Megan is amazing with kids! She connects with them in a way that establishes trust. Megan occasionally sits for my family. We have three children ages 3, 6, and 8, and one of them has special needs. All three of my children love her and request for my husband and I to go on dates more often so that she can come over. Megan engages the children and plays along with them. She often brings fun crafts, books, and games with her to our house for the kids to use. She is very good about emptying the dishwasher or folding laundry when asked! We also have a medium sized dog that she has walked and fed. Megan has a friendly personality and really makes sure our kids feel happy and safe. 100% would recommend Megan to families in the area.
