About Megan

Hi! I'm Megan, a first-year MSW candidate at NYU with more than 10 years of childcare experience. I earned my bachelor's degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, where I also worked as an assistant teacher at a university children's center. My experience includes caring for children of different ages, supporting classroom routines, planning age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, and volunteering with children and families in a pediatric hospital. I'm warm, attentive, dependable, and comfortable maintaining the routines and expectations that are important to each family. I especially enjoy keeping children engaged through reading, creative activities, outdoor time, and play. I am based in Manhattan and available for recurring part-time care, after-school care, evenings, weekends, and occasional date nights. I am a nonsmoker, comfortable with pets, and happy to provide references.
