About Megan

Working with children has been my heart's desire for as long as I can remember. I often babysat throughout high school, and during my college years I was a part-time preschool substitute and worker. Once I graduated college I began teaching lower elementary and loved it! I also tutored students in phonics, reading, and mathematics. Once I moved to Ohio I undertook babysitting as well for two families during the summer and after school. When I became pregnant with our first child my husband and I decided that I would stop teaching in the classroom to stay home and care for our children. I continued to babysit though. It has an absolute joy being a mom. I am currently doing preschool with my son and listening to our daughter giggle and babble. I have a strong passion for children to gain a firm foundation in their education, so I would also love to help your child begin or strengthen their alphabet knowledge, predicting, recall/retell, shapes, measurement, and number sense.
