I have been providing childcare and in-home care for adults with disabilities for more than 10 years, and I have been working almost exclusively with elderly clients for the past five years. I took care of my grandparents in their home. While caring for them I managed a team of 7 caregivers to provide them with 24/7 in-home care. I love to do this work because I get the opportunity to help people stay in their homes and provide compassionate care to those facing some of life's most difficult moments. I feel it is a privilege to get to help folks maintain their autonomy.

Magdalena was a vital part of my mother’s care during the last few months of her battle with leukemia. As a trained death doula and with her experience with hospice care, she brought much insight and support to our family. She helped my mom with day to day functions, drove her to medical appointments, took her to run errands, did light housekeeping, made sure she ate well, and helped me manage her medications. She helped ensure my mom could stay at home until she passed. She helped prepare my mom’s body, provided unwavering support for our family through the grieving process and helped take care of managing my mom’s belongings and returning medical equipment. We also leaned on her to help with other family needs including transport our kids to/from school, pet sitting while we were out of town, and helped with the funeral and celebration of life months later. I am eternally grateful for her support and love through one of the most difficult times in our life and would highly recommend her to anyone needing her special skills.
