About Megan

Hello I'm Megan. I'd describe myself as warm, playful and nurturing. I like working with kids because it brings out the best parts of myself. I'm a fun, creative and empathetic person. These qualities are essential to working with kids. Childcare is a job where I can look forward to going into work everyday and always leave feeling fulfilled. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, with a family that is communicative and supportive. I have experience working with kids ages 1 - 15 with a range of different abilities and challenges. What's most important to me is to have a positive and enriching environment for both me and the families I work for. I started working with children in 2014. I worked as life guard and swim instructor for summer camp in upstate New York. Since then I have worked and taught at many camps and schools in New York as a theater teacher, tutor and substitute teacher. I have been working as a babysitter for a variety of families since 2014.
