About Megan

I have been around with young children frequently, as I have babysat for children of all ages and I have a nephew (7 years old now), who has been a huge part of my life. I have volunteered multiple times as a cabin leader for county outdoor school's science camp. I also volunteered as Teacher's Assistant for kindergarten students in elementary school for four years. I love caring for children and I am very comfortable around them. I enjoy reading stories to children, playing games with them and spending time with them. I think that it is so important to bond and have strong connection with children of this age because they are developing so quickly and during this time period the people who they are around have a huge impact on who they become. I have taken food handling classes so I will be able to help prepare snack. I am currently taking ECE 31 Child Growth and Development at Cabrillo College. I am also CPR certified.
