My experience with children has not only been successful, but has made an impact on my life in the greatest way possible. From tutoring after school, to caring for two children with special needs, I have succeeded in teaching as well as learning from children in a way I didn't think was possible. When tutoring, I was able to teach children the skills they needed in order to excel in a subject. On the other hand, those same children taught me patience; and that not every child will learn the same way, which leads me to children with disabilities. They deserve and need extra care and attention. The two children who I have had the opportunity to work with were smart, caring, and willing to learn. They required much more of my patience and understanding, but they taught me how to give those things without having to say it and for that I am forever grateful.
