Hi I'm Meagan,

I am a person who is passionate about caring for and teaching young children from infants through age 5.

I cherish the meaningful bonds I make with each family whose child I care for. I have over 20 years of child care experience. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am a creative and active person who enjoys helping children explore the world through art, music, outdoor activities, and sensory play. I have 72 units of early childhood education including infant and toddler development courses. I also speak Spanish, some Portuguese and a little bit of French. 

My care taking style is play based because I believe children experience the world best when they are actively engaged in playing, exploring and using their imaginations to create new experiences for themselves.

Meagan has helped care for our 1.5 year old son. Throughout our time with her she has been very reliable, flexible and cares deeply about the wellbeing of our son. Meagan is very knowledgeable about child development and makes an effort to create fun and engaging activities, takes our son out into the world and is a very thoughtful and loving caregiver. 


Meagan watched my son from 6 months to 1 year and was wonderful during that stage. She's really knowledgeable about baby and child development. She took him on regular outings to parks and the library, which he loved. Would recommend her to any family who values a caregiver that's engaged and thoughtful about early childhood development.

Meagan is thoughtful and caring.  She loves kids and is super adaptable and flexible.  With a child development background she brings an educated approach to standard childcare!

Meagan is an incredible person and we were so lucky to have her in our home. she has a wealth of knowledge about children, a great sense of humor, and we were lucky to have her care for our young son.

Meagan has provided after-school care for our 5-year-old son since August. We highly recommend her!

Meagan has taken the time to get to know our son well and relates to him as a whole person. She takes his wants and needs seriously while firmly and lovingly holding the boundaries and rules we've set. Our son trusts her and loves spending time with her, and we trust that she reinforces our rules when we're not around.

Meagan is also incredibly creative and thoughtful about how she spends their time together. She has great ideas for crafts, enrichment work, and fun places to play. She has been proactive about arranging playdates with our son's friends and also introduced him (and us!) to capoeira. Our son takes weekly classes now (which Meagan takes him to) and has learned a ton. She's loving and generous with our son, taking him out for the occasional treat when he has something to celebrate and helping him make cards and gifts for special occasions like Mother's Day. She is very thoughtful about screen time and makes sure to balance any TV watching with plenty of other enriching activities.

We also really appreciate that Meagan is organized and proactive about her schedule; she always tries to communicate the need for time off with as much advance notice as possible, and she's been very flexible with us when we've needed to change our schedule at the last minute.

Overall, our family has loved working with Meagan this last year and we strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a highly capable and fun babysitter or nanny.

We feel so lucky to have found Meagan! She is thoughtful, patient, creative, fun, knowledgeable professional! She always comes prepared with awesome activities for our 18 month old, who loves her time with Meagan! She has a wealth of experience and is happy to share her knowledge. She takes a genuine interest and works with us to support our little one’s goals! We feel like Meagan is our toddler’s preschool teacher! 

Meagan is an amazing childcare provider. She started working with us when my son was 11 months old. She really helped him develop in so many ways. 

Meagan helped us transition from co-sleeping to sleeping on his own in crib without needing to be breathed or rocked to sleep. He started walking around 12 months and running all around by 13-14 months). 

Meagan is very knowledgeable. She helped us childproof our home and gives us so many great recommendations on anything can think of (e.g., best sippy cups, shoes etc). She knows about sleep schedule, wake windows, eating solids you name it! And if she doesn't know she will research and find out. Just like she did helping us teach him French. Our son knows many site words, alphabet, counting 1-20 in English and French by 15 months. Meagan helped him learn while having fun.

Meagan also takes him out to explore and socialize with other kids (playground, children's gym, story time at library etc).  This I am sure has helped his learning and development. She supports his emotional development, she is so patient and when he tantrums helps him sooth, models adaptive coping skills, and names feelings. 

Meagan is all around amazing. I highly recommend.

Meagan is a great childcare provider and has the patience of a saint! 
She came into our lives when we where is a Whirlwind of change and busyness and provide our, then 21 month old, with amazing care. She made sure to keep him active and each day full of adventure and fun. Meagan cares deeply and provides care for both the kid(s) and parents. Would highly recommend Meagan for one on one care or group child care.

Meagan is a vibrant, loving, and nurturing soul. She has worked in our preschool program for our five years now and is the only person outside of family members who has ever cared for our children as an occasional babysitter. Our kids love her. She is very fun and fully in tuned with what children need. She listens to their feelings and comforts them if they are sad or scared. She is kid-centered and children just love her fun silly energy. She is punctual, easy to communicate with, and always excited to come play with the kids. Meagan treats the children like family members and you just want to call her, "aunty or tia Meagan!" Your family is in for a true treat working with wonderful Meagan, or "Tweety" as our kids like to call her!

Meagan is a sweet and caring human who loves being around kids. I will always trust and know that our children are in good hands when left in her care.

Meagan has an intuitive feeling for animals and children. She is very reliable and can follow directions well. She loves to exercise so your pets will get lots of attention and physical walking. She is good at problem-solving and can be very independent, which is a great trait for a pet sitter and babysitter. Her standards are high and she is a good person!!
Meagan has completed college courses in childcare and has been employed by many of her neighbors for pet sitting.
