About Meagan

Hi, families! I'm Meagan, an elementary arts teacher with 8 years of classroom teaching experience and 4 additional years in childcare and tutoring. I've taught art, music, drama, homeschooling, kindergarten, middle school English and History, ELD, Art and Theater, but my passion is working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I love helping young children learn through creativity, play, and meaningful connections. I also have experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and I especially enjoyed teaching infant and toddler swim lessons. Outside of teaching, I'm a working artist who sells my work at local fairs and festivals, and I perform with the American Immersion Theatre Company. Originally from Minnesota, I moved to Portland in 2024. I strive to create fun, safe, and engaging environments where children can learn, laugh, and feel supported.
