About Meagan

Hi, my name is Meagan, and I have over 12 years of experience working with children. I currently work at a local STEAM-based (STEM + Art) children's museum. I am a loving and nurturing caretaker who strives to foster growth and learning in the most natural way possible, through play and exploration! I have a soft and gentle presence that allows kids to warm up to me quickly, while my ability to set clear and firm boundaries offers children a sense of structure and safety. I love to read books, get outside for play, and am actively engaged in my time with kids, working to help them find new ways to explore their ever-expanding worlds. I have worked as a nanny for five different families, worked at a daycare, volunteered in the infant and toddler rooms at a Regio Emelia center, and co-facilitated social skills groups for children with anxiety, selective mutism, and autism. I have two years of university credits in Children's Studies.
