About Mckenzie

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my tutoring practice. I believe every learner possesses unique strengths, and I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and using diverse strategies like visual aids and hands-on activities, I create a supportive environment where curiosity thrives. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to ensure we are aligned in meeting academic goals. Whether we are tackling math, science, or study skills, I celebrate every small success to maintain momentum and motivation. My experience with elementary and middle school students has shown me that a patient, collaborative approach is the key to academic growth. I am CPR training and First Aid certified. I look forward to helping your student discover the joy of learning and achieve their personal best.
