About Mckenzie

Hello! I'm McKenzie, a certified educator with experience in special education, early childhood learning, and child development. I currently work as a kindergarten SPED teacher and love helping children grow academically and emotionally through patient, individualized support. I have experience tutoring foundational reading skills including CVC/CVCC words, blends, digraphs, fluency, and comprehension. I strive to make learning fun, encouraging, and confidence-building while meeting each child where they are. I also have a background in behavior support and adapted learning strategies, which helps me work successfully with a wide range of learners.
