About Mckenzie
I am a certified teacher qualified to teach children from birth to age 11. I am about to enter a masters program to become Montessori certified and will be teaching first, second and third graders this fall! I have had four years of field teaching experience with multiple grade levels from 4k- 5th grade. Through field and my college courses, I feel competent to tutor children in reading, writing, math, science or social studies. I have had extensive work with creating reading intervention groups, doing reading assessments and aiding children who need extra support with their phonics.
