About McKenzie

I have my AA in education & currently pursing my BA in disability studies. I've worked w/ people w/ disabilities for 5+ yrs. I was a sub teacher for 3 yrs & taught all grades. I know ASL, play flute, and was in dance & color guard for 4 yrs. I can help in core subjects, music, bible, computer, life skills & more. My personality is fun-loving, optimistic & patient. I like tutoring bc I love seeing students achieve things didn't think they could. I live for the "aha" moments! I'm looking for a job is willing to work with my schedule, supportive, kind & respectful. I started tutoring about 8 yrs ago when friends needed help w/ their homework & have been helping others since! In my spare time, I like to read, garden & play board games. One thing you should know about me is I did well in school but still had struggles so I understand what it's like to need extra support. My skills include being understanding, able to explain things in different ways and a wide range of subject knowledge.
