Hello! My name is McKenzie. I am 27 years old and grew up in Mason, Michigan, but currently live in Grand Rapids. I have worked with children for over nine years professionally, but was a lifeguard for several years as well. I worked with children who had special needs as a teachers aide and in three different childcare agencies. I also was a nanny to my young nephew and infant niece for one year. I have experience with children mainly under the age of 11. While teaching in a classroom I have gained experience in lesson planning, scheduling activities/feedings, practicing age appropriate sensory integration, and proper safety practices. I am someone who considers myself as diligent, hardworking, organized, good at time management, nurturing, reliable, and dependable. I look forward to meeting new families and continuing my career in childcare!
