About Mckenna

Hi, I am a Boston based tutor and Data Analyst, recently settled in Beacon Hill and eager to connect with families in the community! I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics & Environmental Studies, and I bring real-world data experience into every session to show students that math isn't just a classroom subject - it's everywhere. I specialize in math and statistics tutoring from elementary foundations all the way through Calculus I, and I have hands on experience tutoring undergraduate peers during my time at St. Lawrence. As well as, working one on one with an ESL family from Taiwan over the course of a summer, an experience that deepened my patience, adaptability, and cross cultural communication skills. One of my greatest passions is working with young girls and gender expansive youth to build genuine confidence in STEM. I know firsthand how important it is to have someone in your corner!
