About M Christine

I am the mother of 2 boys who are now grown. I have 3 grandchildren ages 10, 13 and 14 years old, and I spend as much time with them as my schedule allows. I have taught in public schools in Florida while I lived there to help care for my mother. I worked as a teacher of children ages 3-5 with Children's Friend in Providence for 5 years, and I have just stopped working at Jerry's Hardware (also 5 years). I am working as a gardener part time for the summer, and looking to take on a caregiving job as soon as the right situation presents itself. I have traveled much of the world and have had many great experiences (with my family as a child, my own explorations, ). I speak French and Spanish, have education to Masters' level, and love living here in Southern Rhode Island. I love the outdoors, am an avid reader, gardener, beach-goer, seamstress, knitter, bicyclist and tennis player. I love being with young children, and elders as well.
