About Mchale

Hello! I'm McHale, the third of eight children, and I've been caring for kids since I was 11. I started babysitting for other families at 14 and became a nanny at 16, working with children from infants through middle schoolers. In my sophomore year high school, four of my siblings and I were homeschooled, and I taught my two little brothers (kindergarten and second grade) for the full year. Each learned differently, so I got good at adjusting: extra patience for one, new challenges for the other. My little sister has Down syndrome, and I've volunteered for years at her horse therapy program, working with kids and adults with all kinds of disabilities. It made me patient, adaptable, and comfortable meeting each child where they are. I'd love to help your family with homework, outings, bedtime routines, etc. References available!
