About Mcailin

Hello! I moved to Portland about 8 months ago with my partner. Throughout that time, I have worked at a day program that supports adults with intellectual uniquenesses. From prior experiences, I have assisted children in a variety of settings. Some roles have included instructing snowboarding, swimming, and art. Additionally, as a nanny, I was fortunate to support a family and their newborn son in Colorado. For me, it's rewarding to be a crucial part of a child's growth and development. I also enjoy the challenge of discovering activities that engage children of all ages. Over the years, I have learned to exhibit patience, promote effective communication, and offer problem-solving tactics to meet children's needs. This fall, I will be enrolled at USM as I continue to pursue my degree in psychology. I am looking for an opportunity that balances my academic schedule.
