I'll start by mentioning that I've worked as a Sunday preschool teacher for about a year before moving. I was also employed as a part-time nanny for two families for about two years, both families with younger children (about 2-5-year-olds). I also have experience taking care of infants and toddlers (the good and the cranky!). Not only do I have lengthy experience, but also I am certified to perform CPR on an infant/toddler/child. I absolutely adore kids and their crazy imaginations and wild personalities. Every child is unique and fascinating and in so much need of a listening body to be attentive but also encourage good emotional and mental health! Mazzie watched my two children for a few weeks over the summer. We had just moved to the area and the house was far from unpacked, but Mazzie made the best of it and my kids loved having her over. I was working from home, so was fortunate enough to see Mazzie in action. She is fantastic at engaging kids of different ages (mine are 4 and 9) at the same time, while keeping the days activities fresh. She is timely, responsible and dependable. She is welcome at our home anytime.
