I grew up with a registered daycare in my home, so I grew up with kids all around me. For the past few years I've been off and on babysitting for a family friend since her grandson was 2, he's now 5. I've also been a long term babysitter for a child from when he was 9 months old, he's now 2. Both children I've babysat had special needs; high functioning autism and the other was developmentally late. I have been a caregiver for said family friend after a stroke, so I'm used to doing tasks like meal prep, helping around the house, cleaning and bathing kiddos.
