I became a registered nurse so that I can care for people and help them reach their goals to optimum health and wellness. I have no experience caring for people with special needs, except for those individuals I cared for while in nursing school. However, I am a good nurse who truly cares for her patients and would be very motivated to learn the skills necessary to provide great compassionate care that your loved one deserves. I love taking care of children and would prefer to work with a special needs child although I am open to working with adults as well. While my husband was in the Marine Corps and stationed in 29 Palms, CA, I used to provide daycare in my home on the Marine base. I was formally trained and certified through the Family Care Center on base to provide in-home daycare. I watched two very active toddler boys and enjoyed being part of their lives.
