Mayra is so great! She is kind, calm, and very attentive to our little one. She is responsive to our requests and sticks to the baby’s schedule. 10/10 recommended. 

Mayra has been with us for a little over a year and a half and we are very sad to see her go now that our daughter is starting preschool. It's hard to know where to start when talking about how wonderful Mayra is and how much our daughter loves her. Mayra is very professional and communicative, and also extremely warm, caring and fun to be around. I'll never forget the reassurance I felt on her first day with us when my daughter was having a hard time with the transition to her first caregiver that wasn't a parent. Mayra took over with such confidence and patience that I immediately knew my daughter was safe with her. I could not recommend her enough. Any family would be lucky to have her!

Mayra is excellent! She has watched my 7 month old (now 8 month old) infant on multiple occasions including for a 40 hour work week before our permanent nanny was able to start work. She is incredibly communicative and adapts to the routines and needs of your household and your child. Most recently, I had a last minute conflict and reached out to her for short notice babysitting which I really appreciate. She is very attuned to infant needs and milestones and my child really likes her. I will absolutely be hiring Mayra in the future!! 

Mayra is absolutely incredible. She has been taking care of my 6 month old daughter for the past month and we couldn't be happier with her. She is on time, playful, sweet, nurturing, knowledgeable, reliable, communicative, fun to have in our lives, and trustworthy. She is also an incredible cook and always leaves the house cleaner than when she came with light house keeping. I feel so lucky to have met her on this app and I hope she will be with us for years to come! I wholeheartedly recommend her, which is what her references both said to me. They were right! Mayra is a gem.

We hired Mayra as a temporary nanny for our 20-month old son (filling in for our regular nanny) for a week. If I could, I absolutely would hire Mayra as a full-time nanny. She was extremely patient with our precocious toddler and never lost her cool. She took him on daily walks, fed him, changed him, read to him and played with him. Mayra was always pleasant, punctual and helpful--even cleaning up the kitchen without being asked (such a bonus for busy parents who work from home!). I recommend her highly and will definitely continue to have her back.

Mayra looked after our baby boy beginning when he was 5 months old.  She has been an amazing addition to our family and we will definitely keep using her as a caretaker in the future.  10/10 would recommend.

I hire her through care.com for my son 5 years old boy school transportation. She is always on time, dependable. I can go to work without any worries as I know that she will take good care of my son. I will strongly recommend her. 

Where do we even begin with Mayra? We first met Mayra four years ago when she was an assistant at the at-home daycare facility we brought our son to.  She is dependable, thoughtful, fun and one-of-a-kind when it comes to babysitters. A mom herself, Mayra is nurturing to children and hands-on from the moment she walks in the door. Her babysitting sessions are filled with board games, LEGO building and arts and crafts. When my son began preschool and we left our at-home facility we began to hire Mayra to babysit for us at home, to which she has done for us for the last three years. We now have two children and they both adore her - when I mention they'll have a babysitter they both quickly ask me if it will be Mayra. She makes them dinner, and somehow when I come home our house looks cleaner than we left it! :) My husband and I feel like we can confidently say we do not worry about our kids when Mayra is babysitting - it is a privilege to have her be a part of your children's lives!

She is great, trustworthy and easy to talk to. We recommend her services to all parents. 

I known Mayra for a few years now. I had the pleasure of meeting her at a Daycare we worked together. She taught me everything I do there. She really is an amazing human being. She has done an outstanding job at teaching me the ropes on how to handle any type of situations with the kids. She's very respectful, on time, patient, loving, caring, reliable, has a big heart and of course she was very hands on with the kiddos, making sure all their needs were taken care of!

Mayra is the best! We hired her after we had our second child and needed some part time help - she was recommended by the director of the daycare our eldest child attends and she has been an absolute lifesaver for us. She is reliable, trustworthy, efficient, hard working, a joy to be around and most importantly she could not love and care for our kids more. It is such a gift to know that our children could not be in better hands while we are away, and to come home to happy kids and a house that is always much tidier than when we left it. I almost don't want to write this review as we would hate to lose her - in fact - please ignore this review and let us keep Mayra for ourselves!

I have been using Mayra to watch my 9 month old baby.  She has always been on time and ready to go.  I only need care when I get called to work.  I have text her on a moments notice and she has been there for me.  She plays well with the baby and is patient with her as she is hard to get to fall asleep when she is tired.  I will use Mayra again.

She's been great with our family. Always our first call. 

We hired Mayra for two months to care for our infant 2 days a week.  Many days I would come home and she would tell me "Oh she cried for the bottle but everything was good". Only to find out later that our daughter had been crying, screaming hysterically for hours on end many times. The only reason we found out what had actually been going on is because on the last day my husband came home and could hear the baby crying from down the street. When I confronted her, Mayra stated she didn't want to tell us because she didn't want to sound like she was complaining; however, as a parent it is essential to me to know exactly what is happening when I am away so that we can work towards a solution. The most disturbing aspect was Mayra would the baby away facing away from her at all times, even as my daughter was screaming. No hugging, cuddling, or back rubs for a sad baby. Mayra was very reliable, and quick to respond to text, but I would not recommend her to care for infants.
