About Mayra

Hi! My name is Mayra, I bring a lifetime of experience caring for children of all ages. I have 2 years of hands-on experience working within an elementary school district, primarily supporting children ages 10-13, where I developed strong skills in supervision, guidance, and creating a safe, positive environment. In addition, I have over 20 years of experience working with the WIC program through both the American Red Cross and San Diego State University as a Nutrition Assistant. In this role, I worked closely with infants as young as 1-month-old through children up to age five, supporting families with early childhood nutrition, growth, and development. Beyond my professional background, I am also a proud mom of two, now adults, which has given me invaluable real-life parenting experience, patience, and understanding. I am nurturing, reliable, and passionate about supporting children's well-being, and I would love the opportunity to care for your family.
