About Mayra

I am employed in full and part-time positions for children ranging from four months to 13 years. Duties included physical care as well as educational assistance tutoring in French, Spanish, Math, Biology and other subjects. I volunteered at an elementary school to tutor children in all subjects, including French. During the summer of 2010 - 2011, I was a full-time park attendant with duties that included cleaning and maintaining the park, helping patrons with any questions and/or requests, monitoring children going down the slides, as well as First Aid and CPR certified. I was certified as a full-time/over-time lifeguard in August 2010. I got the opportunity to learn, observe, and practice a tremendous amount of skills and procedures. I obtained vital signs, handled emergencies, maintained the water park as a safe environment, provided First Aid, and charted vital patient information. I was awarded "Lifeguard of the Week" on opening week in the summer of 2011 for passion as a lifeguard, following the rules, and being optimistic.
