Hi! I have loved watching and interacting with kids all my life. Through high school, I was in charge of a kids camp program, where I watched kids--ages 6 to 12--for 8 hours a day. When I moved to Utah, I started working at a daycare where I watched infants and toddlers--ages 6 weeks to 3 years. I then became a nanny during Covid, which I enjoyed so much--ages 1, 3, and 6. After my mission, I met my husband while we were FSY counselors, where we watched teenagers 24/7! I've nannied two other families since then and absolutely loved it. I have experience in every age group. I completed my bachelor's in human development at BYU. I'm excited to hear from you!

Maylan made each day fun for my 3 1/2-year-old child. I often heard him squealing with delight when they played. They played outdoors rain or shine, jumping in puddles, drawing with sidewalk chalk, squirting each other with spray bottles, or digging in the dirt— all the things he loved. He liked it when she would play the part of a commentator, providing play-by-play narration as he played with his trucks and tools. Using her artistic ability, she drew multiple little cards to represent his daily activities. Each morning, she helped him choose cards to create a visual schedule for the day. She read the childcare materials I provided and brought out points that were helpful for his needs. We benefited from her wealth of knowledge on child development, nutrition, education, health, and more. We enjoyed having her in our home. She went out of her way to be helpful when we had to move.
