No call. No show. I got through the interview and training stages. I was excited for her to start and I thought she was too. We had set a date and time for her first shift on her own, plus confirmed it a couple days later, and she completely left me hanging. I tried to contact her first by text and then a phone call to make sure she was okay. She answer the phone the next day, I think on accident, because once she realized who it was she hung up on me. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, being young and not much work experience, until she deliberately hung up on me with zero attempt at communication, not one word. When she answered I confirmed it was her then I told her it was me and asked if she was okay. That was it. She chose to hang up instead of simple talking to me for a few minutes to let me know she had changed her mind. Very immature behavior. Poor work ethic. After that performance, I'm glad I didn't hire her.
