About May

Thank you for considering me! My name is May and I have 5+ years of tutoring experience and childcare. I've worked in elementary and preschools in a variety of classroom settings providing education support. I also worked professionally as a college tutor at SU for 5 years. I have a master's degree in Criminal Justice and minors in creative writing and disability studies. I primary tutor English and criminal justice, but have extensive coursework experience with social studies topics, psychology, history, and law. Depending on the topic and level I can also assist with math and sciences. I have experience working with children and youth with disabilities or additional needs and am known to be very patient, understanding, and encouraging.
