About mayellyn

I am a college student majoring in elementary education. Currently, I am seeking for students who needs a boost in any subjects. I have been a tutor/counselor for the past 5 years during school period and summer breaks. I worked in summer camps and after school programs throughout Manhattan as I pursue my career in education. I prefer to work with elementary students k-6. I have been providing students with homework help, tutoring services, enhancing vocabulary skills, counseling, and preparation for the New York State Common Core exams. We can work on reading, fun math, terms and activities to prepare them for their upcoming school year, physical activities in parks such as exercising, sports, etc ( if ok with parent) We can read new interesting books and computer researching, projects in nearest in nearest library. I have excellent references upon request. I live in morning-side area in Manhattan. I look forward to hearing from you!
