About Mayce

I'm a Purdue grad who recently stepped away from corporate work to focus on something more meaningful, and I've always felt drawn to working with older adults. Both of my grandmothers had dementia and were in care homes, so this field is very close to my heart. While I don't have formal experience, I was actively involved in helping care for them- rides, meals, mobility, and spending time together through conversation or simple activities. I've always connected easily with older people and tend to be a bit of an old soul. I'm patient, calm, and attentive, and I value creating a space that feels respectful, comfortable, and unhurried. I love cooking, reading, being outdoors, staying active, and I'm great with pets. I'm also a yoga instructor, so I enjoy supporting gentle movement and mobility. I'd love to be a steady, caring presence and make a positive impact in someone's day.
