Hello! My name is Maya, I'm 20 years old, and a strong believer in hands on childcare. I'm currently enrolled in college and studying Biology, however I have 2 years of previous daycare experience. I have an hourly rate of $20/hour, with an additional $2 per child. I am CPR certified, and very comfortable cooking meals while caring for children. I prioritize hands on activities, such as crafts, playing with toys/pretend play, and assisting in the kitchen if allowed to. If your child is interested, we can also have reading time (I will provide books). I have experience in tutoring and can assist in assignment completion. I believe children should be correctly gently but firmly when acting up, tantrums should not be tolerated nor dismissed, and I will work to find out the cause of it and reinforce better methods to react to not getting your way. In my free time I love to cook, bake, read books, paint, and on occasion play video games. I look forward to meeting you!
