About Maya

Heyy, I'm Maya and I am a college student in Lehman College, currently going to my sophomore year. I looove kids so much, my whole life i've been surrounded by them because I have a very big family. Making a positive impact on children's lives is my passion, reason why I want to do Social Work and work with kids. I strive to be a safe space where kids feel understood and supported. I have one year of experience paid caring for children and it was a family friend but my whole life i've been taking care of kids with no pay. I am creative, friendly, and always approachable. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I I always follow the parents' lead and prefer their preferred communication method. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
