Available for as-needed childcare, as well as short-term part-time or full-time care! My availability varies, so all bookings are first come, first served. Hi! I'm Maya, a 27-year-old pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Before becoming a COTA, I worked as a Behavioral Therapist in ABA, where I supported children with a variety of developmental and behavioral needs and assisted with potty training. I've been caring for children since I was 13 after completing a babysitting course at Chesapeake Regional, and I have experience with children ranging from 3 months to 26+ years old. I truly love working with kids and creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for every family I work with! Patience is vital when working with children, and I take pride in ensuring every child is comfortable. Being able to adapt to any environment very quickly and completing tasks in a timely manner is a strength of mine.
