About Maya

Hi there! My name is Maya, and I'm passionate about supporting children and providing exceptional childcare. Over the past nine years, I've worked with children ranging from babies to teenagers in a variety of settings, including academic, home, and nursery environments. I hold a degree in Spanish and Women's Studies, and while I most recently worked in property management, I've decided to return to my true passion: working with children. I strongly believe that children should be treated with kindness and respect, and I value building positive, trusting relationships with families as well. Activities I enjoy with children are arts and crafts, playing educational and imaginative games, and getting outside! I'm comfortable working with families from all walks of life, and I always follow parents' lead and expectations. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you and your children.
