My name is Maya, and I'm in my final year as a nursing student at OHSU (at the SOU Ashland campus). I'm working towards getting my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing to hopefully be a pediatric nurse practitioner, so working with kids is a passion that I intend to fulfill for a long time. I'm a graduate from South Eugene High School and during my 4 years there I was heavily involved in the child development program. I was hired to work at the on-campus preschool, Kids Down South, for 2 years as a junior and senior. I'm CPR and first aid certified for both infants and children, and have experience working with young children as well as elementary schoolers. I have worked with multiple families for a year+ each with children ages 2 months-12 years including twins. I coach preschool-age gymnastics on the weekends too!
