About Maya

I want to foster an environment where kids feel comfortable expressing themselves and advocating for their needs. In addition to babysitting, I have spent over 6 years of volunteer tutoring with underprivileged children in my area- an immensely rewarding and eye opening experience into the lives of children. I know that having a new caregiver or being away from parents can be a little scary, so its my priority to build trust quickly (the key being making them laugh!) I am happy to do any range of activities whether that be outdoor sports, baking, playing games, educational activities, etc. I maintain First Aid Training and CPR Training and I currently intern at MGH Danvers in the pediatric OR unit. I always follow your lead regarding household rules and your preferred communication methods. I am fluent in English and French. I look forward to the possibility of becoming a joyful, trusted part of your children's daily lives!
