About Maya

I am a dedicated and patient tutor with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. As a graduate of the elementary education program at Saginaw Valley State University, I have experience working with children through student teaching, tutoring, coaching, babysitting, and childcare. I bring strong communication, organization, and creativity skills while adapting lessons to fit each child's individual learning style and needs. I have experience supporting students in reading, writing, math, and science while creating a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to help students grow academically, build confidence, and develop a love for learning while maintaining strong communication with families.
