About Maya

I've been obsessed with kids and babies since I was a teeny girl! Spending time with kiddos is truly my favorite thing to do. I'm 11 years older than my little brother, so I've been babysitting since he was born. I've also watched neighbors' kids, done date night childcare, worked as a camp counselor, taught kids' cooking classes, and currently spend weekly time with the sweetest 3-year-old. I'm super loving, patient, and full of energy! I love reading, singing, and getting little ones out to parks, playgrounds, and nature walks. I completed a program through the NY Early Childhood Professional Development Institute, and I'm certified in Infant First Aid and CPR. I value structure while following kids' lead and nurturing their interests. I understand Spanish and love sprinkling it into songs and play. I'm communicative, present, and prioritize screen-free time. I value clear expectations and trust, and would love to connect!
