About Maya

Hi there! I am a full time graduate student looking for hours on my days off (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays) and/or helping with after school/morning care Wednesdays and Fridays. Here's a little more about me! I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient, and positive! I like working with kids because they embody positivity, joy and creativity which makes life more exciting! I'm looking for a job that has a set schedule with some flexibility, and good communication with both parents and kids. I started working with kids when I was in middle school and I would babysit kids that lived in my block. In my spare time, I like to go on walks along the lake with my friends, try new fitness classes, read, and try new recipes! Something you should know about me is that I am studying to get my masters in social work and I value empathy, patience and positivity! My skills include active listening, being patient, and working on development skills in a fun engaging way!
