About Maya

Hello I am Maya. I am currently a Grad student in Baltimore. I've worked with children for 8 years. I mainly worked as a camp counselor and science and nature specialist at a YMCA camp in Connecticut for 4 years. I love to go play games, bake, and play sports. I love pets and animals. I am a early bird. I do have a drivers license and car. I'd describe my personality as optimistic, imaginative, and observant I like working with kids because I enjoy being able to them learn, create, and develop. Children have a very different view on life then adults and I find it fun to experience that with them. I started working with kids when I was 15. I started by babysitting kids in my family and family friends. In my spare time, I like to take walks outside, watch new shows especially in other languages, and do scientific research.
