About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya, and I'm a Psychology student at Eckerd College with a passion for working with children and supporting their growth in safe, positive, and engaging environments. I have experience as both a nanny and tutor, including working with elementary-aged children in academic settings and providing individualized childcare through nannying positions and agencies. Families would describe me as patient, responsible, organized, and easy to communicate with. I genuinely enjoy building strong relationships with both children and parents, and I value creating an environment built on trust, safety, and kindness. I'm comfortable with helping with schoolwork, meal prep, transportation, bedtime routines, and keeping children engaged in creative and active activities.
